The problem
A new client draft can have the same name as yesterday's file without containing the same work. Replacing immediately may discard a revision you still need; repeatedly pasting makes the destination harder to understand.
A practical answer
GJ File Manager offers Replace, Keep Both and Stop when a copy conflicts. If the correct version is uncertain, stop to inspect or keep separate copies before comparing their contents.
Step by step
- Read the source and destination paths in the conflict prompt.
- Choose Keep Both when you need both versions; choose Stop if you cannot assess the batch.
- After completion, locate the original and the newly named copy and preview each.
- Decide which file belongs in the delivery; apply a choice to all conflicts only when the same rule genuinely fits them.

Know the limits
Keeping both needs extra space and later organization. A newer modification date does not prove correctness, and replacement is not an unconditional backup.
Common question
Does Keep Both merge the documents?
No. It preserves separate files with distinct names; it does not interpret or merge edits inside them.
