The problem

GJ File Manager exposes copy, cut and paste actions. Confirm the source, destination and any name conflict before proceeding.
Step by step
- Select a sample file and choose Cut in the Edit menu; the default is ⌘X.
- Switch to the destination tab, check its path and paste with ⌘V.
- Wait for the file task to finish before disconnecting a drive.
- Open the destination file and confirm a successful move removed the source.
Know the limits
Moving between disks can require copying and then deleting the source. After a failure, inspect both locations before retrying.

Why does Finder use different keys?
