Because GJ File Manager is local-first, there is no online account portal for file contents or profile data. Use the controls below to manage app permissions and local data. For privacy requests about support emails or website records, contact linquce@sosogeo.com.
Manage folder and workspace access
- Remove a workspace, file group item, or remembered authorization from inside GJ File Manager where the app provides that control.
- Use macOS or iPadOS privacy settings to revoke file, folder, or file-provider access granted to the app.
- After access is revoked, the app may still show a remembered path name until you remove the related local workspace or record.
Disable or clear clipboard history
- Open the app's settings or clipboard history controls and disable clipboard history if you do not want recent clipboard items saved locally.
- Clear individual clipboard entries or the whole clipboard history where available.
- Stored clipboard assets are local app data and can also be removed by deleting the app's local Application Support or container data.
Manage Mail and Calendar search
- Disable Mail as a search source or remove the Mail data folder authorization if you no longer want Apple Mail messages and attachment names indexed locally.
- Revoke Calendar permission in System Settings or Settings under Privacy & Security > Calendars.
- After changing permissions, refresh search sources or restart the app so local search state reflects the new choices.
Manage network entries and credentials
- Remove network entries you no longer use, such as SMB, SFTP, FTP, FTPS, WebDAV, cloud, or Spacedrive locations.
- Network passwords are designed to live in Apple Keychain. Removing a network entry should remove the matching credential; advanced users can also review Keychain Access for credentials associated with GJ File Manager.
- Remote servers and cloud providers keep their own logs, account data, and deletion controls. Manage those directly with the provider you configured.
Delete local app data
- Remove workspaces, file groups, network entries, clipboard history, and preferences from inside the app where controls are provided.
- Uninstalling the app removes the application bundle. Local support data may remain in Apple platform storage until you delete the related app container or Application Support data.
- If you need help locating local app data, contact support with your platform, app version, and the data category you want to remove.
