Repeated navigation in a single view makes it easy to forget the source. Tabs preserve the locations you need for a task.
A practical answer
GJ File Manager tabs represent browsing locations. They are not Finder's color tags for categorizing files.
Step by step
- Open the source folder, create a new tab and enter the delivery folder.
- Switch between them and verify each path.
- Copy a sample file from the source and paste in the delivery tab.
- Wait for completion, then close tabs you no longer need.
Know the limits
Tabs do not automatically synchronize folders. Copying, moving and synchronization remain explicit actions.
Common question
Does closing a tab delete the folder?
No. It closes a browsing entry, not the directory on disk.
